A new skill unlocked this evening – Pig Herding
Two of our distant neighbours pigs has escaped their pen and got out onto the lane. A passing walker had manoeuvred them into a neighbours field, which they were promptly ripping up 🙁
The rounding up process was actually not so difficult, so perhaps this was an east unblock for us 🙂
Not an activity that we were expecting to be completing on a Sunday afternoon 🙂
Sadly, Simon learned last night that Anchor Brewing Co in San Francisco closed its doors back in July for the final time 🙁
Anchor Steam Beer is no more……. 🙁
127 years old and cash flow caught up with it….. Now to try to find a few last bottles for one las slurp….

Oliver is heading out to Berlin on a joint German and History tour for just over three days.
it was a 3am start so that he could be at school at 4am, in readiness for an 8am flight over to Berlin.
Rather incredibly, he was up and about way quicker than a typical school day !!!!
not sure if he has truly realised that there is a LOT of walking in his future in Berlin…..
