Penny is officially on with her rightful plate :-)

Looking great – finally all sorted.

She growls ALL of the time and when she is not growling, she ROARs πŸ™‚

Elliot managed to get in Daddy’s good books on Saturday morning by spilling a drink in her – immediate ban on all drinks and food in the car – indefinite limit applied 😐

We have ordered rear seat media entertainment to be installed in three weeks so the kids are looking forward to movies and / or TV when travelling πŸ™‚

Still not sure about inviting the dog in – have ordered a waterproof load liner to enable his spare hair to be more easily ejected post dog trips 🐶 🚗

Welcome Penny

Yesterday was a sad day for us all – we said goodbye to a (relatively) faithful friend – Bruce. We have enjoyed fun times together along with sad times when he refused to start or wouldn’t lock his doors.

At the same time, a new adventure has begun with a suave young lady who is similarly going to bring fun and adventure into our lives – we are just hoping she does not have Bruce’s stubborn nature and therefore does not feel the need to let us down occasionally.

So, let us introduce you to Penelope (Penny for short)….

Sky a go-go

Finally, we have Sky in the house – or Sky Q rather.

It is going to take some getting used to as the user interface is very different from that which we are used to….

we have also been challenged with car stuff today also – the insurers won’t cover us unless the car has a tracker installed – we were wanting to collect it this Friday but we can’t get a tracker fitted befor next Tuesday. Following many phone calls, it transpires that Landrover fit the cars with a Cat 6 system at the factory so we have managed to sort it out thankfully and now have got the free 7 day insurance lined up to hopefully help us get across the migrating the VAR72 plate onto the car.

Incidentally the car is called Penelope, or Penny for short πŸ™‚

Penny…. Penny…. Penny…
