Tina in for surgery … gulp!

Simon has just dropped Tina off with Grant at GHL bodyworks in Ossett – she has begun to shed her lacquer on the rear bumper behind the passenger wheel, and hence is beginning to look a little unloved :-(.  Grant is going to take the bumper off and re-spray it to get it looking like new again.  She will be back later this week or early next with a nicely polished derriere 🙂

P.T. Day 7…

So, the first week is now done and we have progresses pretty well.  We did not have any accidents yesterday, signaling three days on the run with no accidents.  We are still unsure as to what would occur should we not continue to ask him if he needs a lavatory visit…

We did have a number 2 incident this morning although that is not a massive issue at this time, it is definitely something that Olly understands as not being quite right.

At this time he certainly seems to be developing an ability to store his pee for longer than 10 minutes – something he certainly could not do this time last week.

Progress is good 🙂

P.T. Day 5….

So it feels like we *may* finally be making some progress. we did not have any accidents yesterday at all and Olly even took himself off for a wee on a couple of occasions 🙂

We even ventured out of the house as we needed to take Elliot to the walk in doctor surgery – yes once again our own surgery could not see him as they were as usual emergencies only – rally is ridiculous that we can hardly ever get an appointment at our own doctor 🙁 Anyway, it transpires that the poor monkey picked up impetigo at the play centre in Sheffield on Saturday last week :-(. So he has some strong cream to hopefully burn the four spots from his face…. 🙁

It is Manda and Katrina’s wedding day so Vicky was tres busy yesterday getting the cupcakes finished and ready for delivery today. They definitely caused her a few challenges and I think she ended up baking nearly 200 cakes to get the just over 100 that she needed. We are taking several sets of clothes for Olly and we will be all over taking Olly to the toilet as many times as we possibly can to get him through the day. Fingers crossed this will be a good day for him and also a great day for the happy couple of course 🙂

P.T. Day 4 …

Another day with Oliver not wanting us to advise him when he needs to make use of the facilities.  We have observed a couple of small accidents where he has simply got wrapped up in whatever it is that he is currently doing, and hence ‘forgets’ to use the facilities.  At least he is now realising that he is getting wet etc, and subsequently makes his way to the potty.  He is sadly still frightened of the toilets in the house – remember daddy trapped his leg between the seat and porcelain at the weekend 🙁

He managed a #2 in the potty again today – unprompted – he was SO pleased with himself 😀

We clearly just have to fight through the week and break the pattern for him.  Just not looking forward to Saturday – potty training while at a Wedding – oh the joys of it….

We will succeed 🙂
