Kerrie and Spencer Wedding Weekend

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend celebrating the weeding of Kerrie and Spencer in the beautiful location of Temple Guiting in Gloucestershire – the happy couple rented the Temple Guiting Manor house and accompanying barns for their weekend of celebration. 30 people in all were there and we filled the place and seemingly drank and ate an AWFUL lot – the clean up took most of the morning on Sunday!!!

The beautiful church was a short 100 metre walk down the lane so everything was right there in easy reach for all of us and the sun was of course shining down on us all.

Back to the manor for some fizz and laughter along with photograph opportunities…

The location for the Wedding Lunch was simply stunning..

We are so pleased to have been involved in sharing the day wth Kerrie, Spencer and their wonderful friends and family.

Congratulations Justin and Jenny

A wonderful day had by all with much laughter and merriment all round.

The venue was lovely, the food great and the entertainment top notch too – well except for the bit when the groom and groomsmen got up for their “show” on the dance floor.

Oliver had us in stitches on several occasions but one that sticks out was just after the ceremony and all were queuing to congratulate the happy couple, Oliver was asked to stand in line to shake uncle Justin’s hand and give auntie Jenny a kiss – his response…

I didn’t come here to do all that la de da stuff.

We were simply stunned – no clue as to where it came from but it was very well delivered.

It has been fab to catch up with grandma, aunties and uncles and cousins and great cousins – we really must get a weekend in the North East in the diary during the summer holidays 🙂

All that is left to say is thanks to Justin and Jenny for sharing their magical day with us and enjoy every single day from here on in.

BIG day today – Tim and Heather’s wedding

This day has come around VERY quickly indeed – suspect more so for Tim and Heather of course but it really doesn’t seem that long ago that we first met Heather here at ForkHall for the first time a few years ago. Those 3 or so years have passed by in no time at all.

While our little ginger is still not well – still requiring drugs to tame his raging temperature every couple of hours – we are going to brave taking him up to Ripon as apparently he has a dance to participate in 🙂

We are looking forward to celebrating with everybody later today – see you all soon.

Wedding Dress Shopping

After collecting Emily from Sandal BMW this morning, we head over to Halifax (via Costa drive-thru in Huddersfield) so that Vicky could go with Jenny on a Wedding dress treasure hunt. It seems that the first shop they went to had the required treasure – Jenny seems made up with the find 🙂

On the way back the boys nipped into GAME in the White Rose shopping centre to spend some of Elliot’s birthday credits 🙂 More figures for Disney Infinity Marvel of course 🙂 Nick Fury and the Venom have now been secured 🙂
