Olly has been threatening a temperature since Tuesday and last night it began 🙁 great timing for his birthday parties – NOT
We managed to get him in front of a doctor this morning and we have a prescription so that i it worsens we can give him the medicine. At this stage the tonsils are elevated in colour but not angry.
In other news we have an appointment to see an ENT specialist at Barnsley hospital on Tuesday next week – so hopefully we are going to get on the right road soon 🙂

The sun has come out and the biys are wanting to spent more time in the garden.
So, daddy has had to mow the lawn and then begin the process of smartening the place up a bit – particularly since we are hoping to have a garden party / BBQ for a joint Olly / Daddy birthday on Bank Holiday Monday.
So, daddy has been out last night beginning the task of dragging the ivy out of the fencing in preparation to paint it – about time really as the fence has only been there 10 years (this June) and it has not been painted thus far.
The grass was “feed and weed”ed last night and the dogs are doubtlessly sunbathing and fouling the freshly mowed lawn.
Next up will be the hedges to get a trim with the new petrol powered hedge trimmer that daddy bought a few weeks ago in Costco and then hopefully we are set for a glorious summer.
This year we are going to be better on top of the grass quality and condition in the hope that next year we will begin to feel proud of the garden a bit more 🙂
Then of course there’s the front garden – oh my we have our hands full there….
Look who we bumped into at the little car show up at school this morning 🙂
There were some truly impressive cars on show up at school from the A-Team van (including weapons attached to the insides) to the very latest F-Type Jaguar – very nice BTW 🙂
Some cracking examples of Mustangs of all ages and half a dozen tremendous Jaguar E-Types including a really nice black convertible V12 variant 🙂 Sorry, no pictures were taken thought sadly…
The show was for the 6th form charities so hopefully a good amount was taken – it certainly seemed pretty busy and most people that we know were there.
Was what Elliot said as he came back into the restaurant from the outdoor play area. He duly dragged Euan back outside to go chase the girls around the play equipment….
