Elliot’s turn 😉
So the story goes as follows:
“An alien space ship had unfortunately broken down and crash-landed on Earth. Luckily, some very kind children took them under their wings and invited them to watch their Christmas play rehearsal, although the teacher was a bit bemused by the visitors’ dress sense! The aliens didn’t know what Christmas was, but by the end they knew about the birth of a very special baby and they wanted to tell the whole universe about it!”
Sadly Daddy missed it this year but so that we can all share a little bit of the events, here are some of the photos 🙂
Daddy didn’t get home from America until 8am on Saturday and then went out with mummy to the Silcoates Year 2 parents mini Christmas Party at the Leeds Royal Armouries. Plenty of coffee was used to keep Simon awake and mucho drinking and dancing was the result of the evening. Think everyone had a great time on the night, even if we did feel tender on Sunday.
As a direct result, we didn’t get out to the cinema with the boys on Sunday and didn’t manage to get a sunday lunch out either. Simon crashed and burned on Sunday afternoon and just slept on the sofa 🙁 As it happens the boys were totally OK with staying in as it meant that they were up for XBOX time 🙂
Simon is looking forward to a break over Christmas as being away from the family is really hard each week so nearly 2 weeks out will be very welcomed and very well timed 🙂
Daddy is on a US trip and arrived last night in Denver, Colorado.
As he awoke this morning, it is reportedly -15C – we’ll soon see if his new coat is up to scratch 🙂
Earlier in the week (Thursday night) poor Olly was up ALL night being pretty violently sick :-(. It took him most of Friday to stop being sick and only today has he been better although he still does not have his appetite.
Then just 20 short minutes ago the thing we feared most happened……..
….. Elliot was sick 🙁 clearly he is the first person to have ever been sick 🙁 Apparently we need to stop feeding him food that makes his body need to be sick 🙂 LOL
Poor mite though was sick out of his nose :-(.
Hopefully we don’t all get the sickness bug – will be great for daddy to get sickness while travelling around the US 🙁
