Tae Kwondo Grading day

We missed grading last month because of the Alton Towers trip with school, so this morning both boys were in for grading – Oliver to grade for his Orange belt and Elliot for his Yellow/Green belt.

The great news is that they both passed (Elliot with an A grade once again :-)) so we are over the moon and super proud of both of them.

Oliver needs to work on his concentration and this was what let him down a little on the day, but he passed and in many ways, that is all that counts.

Well done boys, you have delivered on the day – keep it up πŸ™‚

Charlie ready for collection TODAY

So, we received the call from the dealership to confirm that Charlie is indeed ready for collection today so poor Emily will be making her last journey under our ownership down to Sandal BMW at tea-time.

Accordingly all is present and correct and all we need do is pop down to swap over.. πŸ™‚

Charlie is on her way…

Simon got a call from the garage yesterday on his way home – Vicky’s new car is (or was) presently making her way across the North sea on the ferry / boat and will be with us shortly…

Beginning to get a little exciting so Simon has purchased the necessary paint protection stuff for the Silver paint as one of the first jobs will be a complete decontamination and full paint protection and waxing etc.

Another 10 or so…

Emily is leaving us

Yesterday Emily was in for a quick check up service at Sandal BMW and while we were there we test drove a new car. Gulp…

We have been mulling over for a while whether the time is right to upgrade the little car to something a little nicer and better with fuel economy for the trips to Vicky’s work just below Sheffield.

We spent quite a bit of time looking at the used models and in the end have determined that we really would like to buy a brand new one.

So, in a few short weeks, Vicky will be the proud owner of a lovely silver BMW 420d Sport with red leather interior πŸ™‚ A bit like the one below:

420d

When we told the boys about the new car, poor Oliver burst into tears as he didn’t want to let Emily leave the family πŸ™

Let’s just hope that the new car – as yet unnamed will be a suitable replacement in his eyes.
