Pumpkin Patch

We head out to Half Moon Bay this morning to go to Pastorino’s Pumpkin Patch – it rained a little but we still really enjoyed the couple of hours.

Rain called off play in the end, but we still ended up with two pumpkins – or Po as Olly calls them πŸ™‚

Vicky has worked for over 4 hours this afternoon carving the little fellas (the po’s, not the kids…) and take a look at her work – how cool are these?

Tomorrow is the big night and Elly has begun to state that he does not want to wear his Buzz costume – typical – 6 weeks of wanting it on every day, and now that the time is here, he is not interested in it.

On slightly less exciting news, we have bought a new TV today (46inch version of the one we already have) and relegated the previous model into the lounge area, and the lounge TV to a bedroom.Β  While Simon wanted a 3D TV, he relented that a $700 purchase was a smarter use of cash.

The weekend is here…

Another weekend, and Olly is finally on the mend πŸ™‚

We are opting for a day in today – it rained yesterday AND today – outrageous.

It certainly seems to be cooling down here in the Bay area now – with he temperature this week rarely breaking above 22 degrees C, and rain on a couple of occasions.

That will be the end of the Rust’s bragging then πŸ™‚

Granddad has been here for two whole weeks – suspect he will sleep well on his light home.Β  Elly and Olly have run him ragged πŸ™‚

Granddad – we have had a great time finding pumpkins – thanks for coming – we love you xx

Granddad and Daddy managed to get to Alcatraz on Monday – a real experience – if you are ever in San Francisco, then you really should try to get onto the island for the tour – you will not regret it.Β  When we get the photos sorted, we will post them up here for all to see.
