Believe it or not, today is Olly’s last day as a junior school pupil….
He is both delighted and saddened – delighted because he has a summer break (in the house :-)) but saddened because many of his friends will not joining him in the Senior School next term.
A big day for all year 6 children around the country and we hope you all have a terrific final day 👌
Today, we were notified that Elliot has received a Deputy Head Commendation aware for his performance in the recent examinations at school. A great result acknowledging his determination and resilience through the last few months – a really impressive result.
Now, he needs to build on this for year 9 and onto his GCSE’s 🙂

So we succumbed to needing hair cuts given it been almost 4 months since the last cut…
Elliot had his last weekend and Olly and Dad had theirs done tonight….

Vicky managed to get a socially distant vet appointment for Fred since his left rear leg is not getting any better.
A 5 minute checkup gave the wonderful news 🙁 Accordingly he has torn a ligament in his knee and it sadly won’t repair itself. In fact it likely will get worse as it rips completely and in a strange turn it will be less painful once it tears fully. However he will become totally lame in that leg at that time.
His option really is about an operation that essentially will remove the ligament and fix the knee to have a replacement architected “joint” that will repair the knee, allowing near full operation and remove the pain. The great news is that it is super likely that the other knee on his rear right leg will do the same in a couple years – oh and the not so great news – £3,000 a knee !!!! Nice 👍
