Grandma and Grandad treated us all to a show at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford yesterday evening. The show began at 5pm and was starring Billy Pearce and Chico along with 20 or so others. There were 4 acrobats included at various points in the show and they were really rather good.

The boys THOROUGHLY enjoyed the show – even more so when they caught the toilet humour that was interlaced into the show from start to finish 🙂 Flatulence is always going to be funny to a Rust boy…..

We were sat 6 rows from the front so we managed to get wet during the window cleaner gag as well as being involved in all of the other action 🙂

The cast really put on a tremendous show that kept us all entertained for the best part of two hours.

Maybe we will be making this a standard part of Christmas for the Rusts between Christmas and New Year – maybe we will try to get a lounge next year 🙂

Uncle Tim and Heather invited us all to join them for lunch yesterday at the Hobbit in Norland.

It must be nearly 15years since we have been to the hobbit – the last time being mummy, daddy and great grandma and great grandpa 🙂

The owners have just (in 2013) completely renovated the place and it really is nice inside – that said it was pretty nice the last time we were there 🙂

Sadly there was no Steak pie on the menu but the food was pretty good – the deep fried Brie was a little strange – was a bit like beer batter (without the beer if that makes any sense) or fish and chip shop batter.

It was great to have all of us together for a meal and then Tim and Heather very kindly paid for us all – thanks guys 🙂

The first game resulted in granny cuckoo being the Smelly Nappy baby – the kid found it highly amusing to shout “Smelly Nappy baby” at Grandma 🙂
