Rusty Boys

We went to see Elliot and Oliver’s’ Great Grandma and Grandpa yesterday – the Rust boys photo is below….

We had a good night sleep last night – well 2 4 hour sleeps – not half bad ๐Ÿ™‚

Elliot has been at Nursery today and Simon has finally taken the scrap (from the front garden) to the tip ๐Ÿ™‚ He can be such a lazy waster at times…. To make the job a little more complex, Simon loaded up the 5 series, got the card to grant access to the actual recycle centre, got in the car, turned the key……and …….nothing.ย  The car battery was flat ๐Ÿ™ย  1 hour later, following a short charge, all was OK againย  and the engine burst into life – the 10 mile trip that ensued, hopefully will have charged it enough.

We are all registered

Oliver is now registered and we have his official Birth Certificate (plus a couple of spares) – we went to Dewsbury Register Office this morning and get everything signed and sealed.

Just got home, started to feed and then a large vibratingย  flatulent sound – it was wet, brown very toxic smelling and filled his nappy and then overflowed rather neatly into his clothes.ย  Made it right up to his shoulder blades ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Clearly, gets his flatulence from mummy ๐Ÿ™‚

On other subjects we have the Conservatory blinds being fitted on Saturday and the Conservatory people are coming to take a look at the leak n Saturday also.

Feed me, feed me, feed me :-)

Oliver appears to have the same appetite as his big brother – so we have resorted to a supplementary bottle while Vicky’s milk supply becomes enough for the little guy.ย  24 hours after making this decision, Oliver seems to be much better (he was getting a little de-hydrated) and the milk supply is beginning to up in quantity ๐Ÿ™‚

We are going to register Oliver’s birth tomorrow and typically Simon has to go into work in the afternoon (not great considering he was there today as well ๐Ÿ™ ) Needs must as they say, and once tomorrow’s conference call is dealt with, we should be good for the remainder of the week.

Sleep was not quite as good last night – prob caused by the food issue.ย  Let’s see how tonight goes – one day at a time and all that ๐Ÿ™‚ …….

Feed and Sleep

Last night we were almost certain that Oliver was not getting enough milk from Vicky, and Simon got a SMA bottle ready – the threat of this seemed to do the trick – he fed like a good ‘un as soon as Simon got back to the room ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Wondering if he just is struggling to suckle the milk out – it is most definitely there…

Anyway, we did OK after the marathon 3 1/2 hour feed that he took from 10 to 1:30am.ย  He slept until 7am ๐Ÿ™‚ Nice…..

First few photos of liver are online

We ventured out shopping today, but didn’t actually get out of the car since Elliot fell asleep and so it seemed foolish to awaken him and hence have a little guy with a bad attitude traipsing around the shops ๐Ÿ™

Oliver has actually been asleep when most people have come around to see him – and now that all have left, he is wide awake wanting to entertain ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh well, WE GET TO SEE HIM AWAKE ๐Ÿ™‚ Sod all else ๐Ÿ˜‰
