So, Hugo is not keen to be left alone it seems – we are definitely going to have our work cut out over the next few weeks. More than we had thought.

We all went to bed at 10pm and mummy ended up going down to see to Hugo at 10:45 as the howling continued for 45 minutes. A little weeing had taken place and chewing of the newspaper we left for him.

However after a further 45 minutes of howling he finally gave in and went to sleep – daddy got up at 6am with him and surprisingly there was no mess at all and he went out for a one and two almost to order.

He still isn’t showing any interest in eating although he has been drinking water thankfully.
