Well, we have had two days of what feels like continuous rain 🙁

Yesterday, we went to Sheffield to Monkey Bizness to give Elliot some soft play centre time – he had a real ball – tired daddy out as well.

Today, we have had the conservatory blinds fitted today – they are really nice and hopefully will deal with the brightness of the sun – not that we can find out today – the rain is handily shielded by the roof and windows, so the blinds did not offer any help there.

This all being said, we did find time to crack open the new charcoal BBQ today since we have hosted Frank, Sophie, Fabrizio and Rhiannon in the afternoon.  It is really nice to see Elliot playing so well with other little ones – he and Fabrizio have played well all afternoon and Elliot shared all his toys well, including his “red car” – the 6v battery powered car for outside.

On it’s second outing, the grilling went very well – somehow, Simon’s skills are not half bad – no seriously BF’ed food yet.  That’s right, we said YET 🙂
